Baseball Recap: Dougherty Valley Wildcats vs. Dublin Gaels
Dougherty Valley had lost eight straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 2-20 to make it nine. They lost 8-1 to the Dublin Gaels. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Gaels from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Dougherty Valley got a good showing from Nicholas Johnson, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Johnson has allowed since back in February.
