Kingstree piles up the points against Hemingway

Recap: Kingstree Blazers vs. Hemingway Tigers

The Kingstree Blazers waltzed into Friday's matchup with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hemingway 73-41 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Kingstree, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Micheal Kelly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Ashton Woods was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 4 steals.

Kingstree's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hemingway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingstree will square off against Lake City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hemingway, they will head out on the road to face off against Lamar at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Lamar is ranked 242nd, while Hemingway is ranked 251st).
