Basketball Recap: Regis Groff Victorious

Regis Groff won against Manual on Thursday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Regis Groff Fusion walked away with a 73-62 victory over the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fusion.

Regis Groff found their leader in sophomore Tyson Smith, who went 11-for-24 to rack up 29 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Javelle Taylor, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and six steals.

Despite the loss, DSST: Conservatory Green still got an impressive performance from Davon Allen, who went 6-for-12 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jayvon Singleton, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Regis Groff's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Regis Groff nor DSST: Conservatory Green have any future games scheduled.
