Baseball Recap: Pleasant Home Takes a Loss

Pleasant Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Baker Gators, falling 6-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Pleasant Home saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Luke Colvin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Jack Wiggins also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Pleasant Home's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Baker, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

While Pleasant Home had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
