Softball Game Preview: Odessa Tigers vs. Middletown Knights

The Odessa Tigers will head out to take on the Middletown Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Odessa faced off against Delcastle Technical on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cougars a 15-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Middletown made easy work of Frederick on Monday and carried off a 20-0 win. Considering the Knights have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Middletown's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Odessa, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
