Softball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Lincoln County lost against Southwestern back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lincoln County came up short against Southwestern, falling 18-3. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Price, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Southwestern, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Lincoln County will be playing at home against Powell County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southwestern, they will head out to take on Pulaski County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
