Baseball Recap: Wabasso Sets Scoring Season-High Against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton

Wabasso had lost five games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 3-10 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers 13-11. The Rabbits' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6. Even though they lost, their still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.4 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

For Tracy-Milroy-Balaton's part, Brody Hauger was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Coming up, Wabasso will head out on the road to challenge Lester Prairie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ortonville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
