El Capitan extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kenneth Mua. The Gauchos blew past the Los Banos Tigers 3-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Mua, who had 21 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last six games he's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant El Capitan was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-11.

El Capitan is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-11 record this season. As for Los Banos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

El Capitan will be playing at home against Merced at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Gauchos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Los Banos, they will venture away from home to face off against Atwater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
