Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Edmond Memorial

Northside is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Edmond Memorial. The Grizzlies fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

While Northside ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18.

Northside's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Edmond Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Northside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Moore on the 4th. As for Edmond Memorial, they will host Piedmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
