            There's no place like home for Northeast, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  6-0 margin over the McEwen Warriors on Tuesday.  Janelle Roland was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.
 Northeast used a slightly different lineup for their bout with McEwen. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to:  Brielle Gianunzio (70),  Nadia Johnson (65), and  Addison Baldry (17). The trio had averaged 36.2, 30.8, and 8.5 minutes respectively before Tuesday's   match. Gianunzio made the most of the opportunity,  scoring  a goal and three  steals  A few more games like that and  she might be seeing even more time going forward.
With the  victory, Northeast broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3-1. As for McEwen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will face off against Kenwood at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Northeast will be up against Kenwood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.33  goals per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McEwen, they will take on Waverly Central at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
