Pecos has no trouble against Native American Community Academy

The Pecos Panthers came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Native American Community Academy as Pecos made off with a 59-33 victory. Pecos has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Native American Community Academy still got an impressive performance from Raine Edaakie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Edaakie continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Pecos has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Native American Community Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Pecos will head out on the road to challenge Santa Rosa at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Santa Rosa: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Pecos has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. As for Native American Community Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Estancia at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Estancia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Friday.
