Rockford East extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from MiKwan Marshall. The Rockford East E-Rabs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 win over the Guilford Vikings on Wednesday thanks to Marshall, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 20 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Guilford still got an impressive performance from Branden Chatman, who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Ricky Woods Jr, who earned nine points.

Rockford East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points over those games. Guilford's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 16-1 and their overall record down to 24-5.

Looking ahead, Rockford East will be playing at home against Huntley at 7:30 p.m. on February 26th. As for Guilford, they have already played their next game, a 66-46 victory against Harlem on the 20th.
