Basketball Recap: Chickasha Comes Up Short

Chickasha won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They lost 51-31 to the Newcastle Racers. The defeat continues a trend for the Fighting Chicks in their matchups with the Racers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chickasha fell to 2-1.

Chickasha will square off against Lincoln Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newcastle, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Blanchard at 8:00 a.m. Newcastle is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games dating back to last season.
