Soccer Recap: Dixon's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Dixon kept a clean sheet against Richlands on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Wildcats 1-0. That's two games straight that Dixon have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Emma Davis, who's now up to six this season.

The win (which was Dixon's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five matchups. As for Richlands, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-1 record this season.

Dixon has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Swansboro on the 28th. As for Richlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Croatan on the 28th.
