Volleyball Recap: Volcano Vista Hawks vs. Eldorado Golden Eagles
Volcano Vista gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Eldorado Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The Hawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
Volcano Vista walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.
Leading Volcano Vista to victory were Ava Wrolstad and Allison Hinchman. Wrolstad had seven digs and two aces, while Hinchman had five assists and four aces. Wrolstad has been hot, having also posted 20 or more assists the last six times she's played.
