Soccer Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Chesapeake has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glen Burnie Gophers. Chesapeake were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Glen Burnie apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Glen Burnie, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Coincidentally, Chesapeake and Glen Burnie will both be playing Old Mill the next time they take the pitch. The Gophers will head out to face the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
