Basketball Game Preview: Palo Verde Panthers vs. Chino Cowboys

Having just played yesterday, the Palo Verde Panthers will jump right back in to play the Chino Cowboys at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Palo Verde is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Cimarron-Memorial, who was ranked 21st at the time (Palo Verde was ranked 18th). Palo Verde fell 56-49 to Cimarron-Memorial on Friday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chino suffered their closest defeat since January 5th on Friday. They fell just short of Spanish Fork by a score of 71-68. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chino's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Palo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
