Softball Recap: York Suburban Takes a Loss

York Suburban was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Eastern York Golden Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

Sara Lim made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

York Suburban's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Eastern York, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York Suburban will take on Kennard-Dale at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastern York, they will square off against Delone Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Squires will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Golden Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
