Gabbie Burkett was a major factor in Greeneview's win over Greenon on Monday. Burkett wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Burkett's strong effort led Greeneview over Greenon and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are 8-1-1 against the Knights going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
