The La Salle College Explorers will head out to take on the Neumann-Goretti Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Salle College will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
La Salle College's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Shipley as they made off with a 13-0 victory. Considering the Explorers have won six games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Declan Cawley looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Keegan Wade, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Bogansky, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Neumann-Goretti made easy work of Archbishop Carroll on Wednesday and carried off a 12-2 win. That looming 12-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Saints yet this season.
Neumann-Goretti also got a great performance from Johnluca LaSpada as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
At the plate, Nick Coccia and Nicky Genzano did most of the damage at the plate: Coccia went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Genzano went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Luca Costobile also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Neumann-Goretti always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
La Salle College's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Neumann-Goretti, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.
La Salle College was able to grind out a solid victory over Neumann-Goretti in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Explorers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
