Basketball Recap: Law Government & Justice Tigers vs. Leaders In Our Neighborhood Lions
Law Government & Justice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 41-11 loss at the hands of the Leaders In Our Neighborhood Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-10 back in December of 2024.
Sinaya Alvarez was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 14 steals for Leaders In Our Neighborhood. That makes it four consecutive games in which Alvarez has scored at least a third of Leaders In Our Neighborhood's points. Another player making a difference was Nylah Simmons, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds.
Law Government & Justice's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Leaders In Our Neighborhood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
