Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Watertown Goslings.

Summer Hellenbrand paced Marshall's offense, picking up eight kills. Hellenbrand got some help from Ava Neuberger and her 14 assists.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Watertown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Marshall and Watertown will both be playing McFarland the next time they take the court. The Goslings will head out to face the Spartans at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
