Basketball Recap: Whitewater Find Success

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Whitewater Whippets beat the Williams Bay Bulldogs 73-67 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Whippets.

Casey Lyon was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 14-for-35 en route to 43 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Matthew Carollo was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Whitewater now has a winning record of 2-1.

Whitewater has already played their next matchup (against Monona Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Williams Bay, they will square off against St. Ambrose Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
