Millsap is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Jacksboro is on a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Bulldogs will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Millsap made easy work of Dublin and carried off a 10-1 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Carson Crouch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Reid Green was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Brandon Savage was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Jacksboro hadn't done well against Holliday recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Tigers never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.
Not much got past Cannon Valenzuela, who gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Holliday off the board.
On the hitting side, Jacksboro saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kase Dennis, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That's the most hits Dennis has posted since back in February.
Jacksboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Millsap, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.
Millsap was able to grind out a solid win over Jacksboro when the teams last played back in February of 2021, winning 6-3. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
