Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jenks). They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 67-14 win over the Moore Lions. The Trojans have beaten the Lions the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.
Despite the loss, Moore had strong showings from Landis Greene, who picked up 126 receiving yards and one TD, and Maverick Gardner, who threw for 136 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 74 yards.
Jenks' victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Moore, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
