Baseball Recap: Asheville T Takes a Loss

Asheville T was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upstate Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-4 loss back in March.

Sterling Haynes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Abram Yarborough, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Asheville T's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Upstate, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Asheville T does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Upstate, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Greenville H on the 27th.
