Preview: Alta Hawks vs. Olympus Titans

The Alta Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Olympus Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alta will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.

On Tuesday, Alta took a serious blow against West, falling 65-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alta has scored all season.

While Olympus couldn't quite beat Brighton on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 24-point loss they were dealt last Tuesday. Olympus fell just short of Brighton by a score of 51-49. Olympus has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Keily Trabanino, who scored 15 points along with four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Joss Baker was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Alta's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-3. As for Olympus, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Alta was able to grind out a solid victory over Olympus in their previous matchup back in January, winning 60-48. Will Alta repeat their success, or does Olympus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
