Baseball Recap: Iowa Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bowie last Friday, Iowa Park came back down to earth. The Hawks fell just short of the Jacksboro Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Iowa Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kane Decker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Decker snagged this season.

Iowa Park's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Jacksboro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

While Iowa Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
