Indian Creek wins going away against Northeast

Recap: Indian Creek Eagles vs. Northeast Eagles

The Indian Creek Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Northeast 55-39 on Wednesday. That looming 55-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Indian Creek yet this season.

Despite the defeat, Northeast saw an underclassman step up: Brynn Jones dropped a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. Jones is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Walter, who scored ten points.

Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Northeast, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Friends at 5:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Northeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Crofton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
