Softball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-2 to the Quincy Orioles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 17-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Quincy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Concord will be playing in front of their home fans against Union City at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quincy, they will square off against Marshall at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
