Basketball Game Preview: Tattnall Square Academy Trojans vs. Twiggs County Cobras

Tattnall Square Academy and Twiggs County are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans will get right back to it and host the Twiggs County Cobras at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tattnall Square Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 games -- so hopefully Twiggs County likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Tattnall Square Academy strolled past John Milledge Academy with points to spare, taking the game 57-41. The 57-point effort marked Tattnall Square Academy's lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Twiggs County came up short against Wilkinson County on Tuesday, falling 67-43. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Twiggs County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Tattnall Square Academy barely slipped by Twiggs County in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, winning 51-50. Will Tattnall Square Academy repeat their success, or does Twiggs County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
