Volleyball Recap: Gaston Christian Find Success

Gaston Christian lost to High Point Christian Academy back in August of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Cougars 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Gaston Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Gaston Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Gaston Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Caldwell Academy on the 8th. High Point Christian Academy has also already played their next contest (against St. David's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
