Basketball Recap: Propel Braddock Hills Comes Up Short

Propel Braddock Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 57-50 to the Leechburg Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Propel Braddock Hills this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-47 back in December of 2024.

Leechburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chase Henry, who posted 18 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Those six boards gave Henry a new career-high. Brady Rollinger was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 16 points in addition to seven assists and four steals.

Propel Braddock Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Leechburg, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Propel Braddock Hills will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Winchester Thurston at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Leechburg, they will face off against Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
