Legacy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Holy Family, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. The Lightning Bolt were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Tigers on Saturday. Considering the Lightning Bolt have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jack Schoenheider, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Blake Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Legacy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

With the win, Legacy broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-6. As for Holy Family, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Legacy will square off against Fossil Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Lightning Bolt's pitchers better be ready for this one: the SaberCats have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Holy Family, they will head out on the road to take on Centaurus at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
