Basketball Recap: Briarwood Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Briarwood Christian lost against Oak Mountain back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost to the Eagles on the road by a 78-63 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (62), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Oak Mountain's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kasen Lemons, who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave Lemons a new career-high. Gray Carrington was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Briarwood Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oak Mountain, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Briarwood Christian will take on Chilton County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Mountain, they will square off against Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
