Basketball Recap: Geronimo Takes a Loss

Geronimo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dover Longhorns. The Blue Jays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Geronimo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Dover, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Geronimo has already played their next contest, a 48-45 victory against Velma-Alma on the 18th. As for Dover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 38-28 win against Pond Creek-Hunter on the 17th.
