Basketball Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

If Hamilton County was riding high fresh off their 57-30 takedown of Vandalia on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Foxes came up short against the Carterville Lions on Friday, falling 60-38. The Foxes haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Carterville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Hamilton County will square off against Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carterville, they will face off against Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
