Mountain Grove has gone 9-1 against Houston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Mountain Grove will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Mountain Grove turned things around against Salem on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

Houston had taken Ava down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Houston had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21.

Mountain Grove's win bumped their record up to 12-15-1. As for Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9-3.

Mountain Grove took their victory against Houston when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
