Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Episcopal Comes Up Short

After flying high against McLean last Friday, St. Andrew's Episcopal came back down to earth. The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions had to suffer through a 65-30 loss at the hands of the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, St. Andrew's Episcopal saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Soliya Solomon posted 15 points.

St. Andrew's Episcopal now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lansdale Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's Episcopal will be home for the holidays to greet Georgetown Visitation Prep at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Andrew's Episcopal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season. As for Lansdale Catholic, they will welcome Neshaminy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
