Basketball Recap: Chesapeake Panthers vs. Fairland Dragons

Chesapeake lost against Fairland last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chesapeake Panthers fell to the Fairland Dragons 68-62. Fairland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Buchanan out in front who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Buchanan has scored at least a third of Fairland's points. Cliff Fransen was another key player, putting up 15 points and six boards.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Fairland, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

Coming up, Chesapeake will take on Alexander in a tournament on February 21st. Fairland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
