Softball Recap: Mcpherson Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

McPherson strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Great Bend Panthers 11-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bullpups also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

McPherson's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Great Bend, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McPherson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mulvane at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Great Bend, they will venture away from home to take on Pratt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
