Volleyball Recap: Pantego Christian Triumphs

Pantego Christian won the last time they faced Benbrook and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pantego Christian took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10.

Natalie Norton paced Pantego Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Norton got some help from Keeley Shortes and her 12 assists. Shortes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Pantego Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Benbrook, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Pantego Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Kingdom Collegiate Academy on the 14th. As for Benbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Founders Classical Academy on the 14th.
