Softball Recap: Lewiston-Porter Comes Up Short

Lewiston-Porter made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Grand Island, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lancers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-4 on Thursday.

Lewiston-Porter's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Grand Island, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lewiston-Porter is set to square off against their familiar foe Kenmore East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Grand Island will challenge rival Niagara Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
