Football Recap: Ridgemont's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ridgemont put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Ridgedale Rockets with a sharp 30-7 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Gophers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgedale lost, don't look at Michael Deas. Despite the final result, he rushed for 85 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Ridgemont's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ridgedale, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgemont will challenge Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgedale, they will head out to challenge Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
