Volleyball Game Preview: San Mateo Bearcats vs. Capuchino Mustangs + How To Watch

San Mateo is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Capuchino is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bearcats will welcome the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

San Mateo is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mills just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0.

While San Mateo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

Capuchino won the last time they faced Jefferson and Jana Hernandez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs blew past the Grizzlies 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Hernandez, who had 32 digs and one assist. Hernandez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

While Capuchino won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-12.

Capuchino's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for San Mateo, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
