Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 57-11 defeat at the hands of the KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-3 back in December of 2025.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for KIPP Tulsa University Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Central will head out to challenge Catoosa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for KIPP Tulsa University Prep, they will square off against Star-Spencer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
