Soccer Game Preview: Cox vs. Kellam + How To Watch

The Cox Falcons will face off against the Kellam Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cox's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Green Run by a score of 2-0. Given Cox's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Green Run are ranked 150th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nate White and Jacobo Hoyos scored both of Cox's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Kellam was able to grind out a solid win over Ocean Lakes on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

Cox is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-0-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Kellam, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
