Basketball Recap: Battle Ground Takes a Loss

Battle Ground was the 55-48 winner over Union when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Battle Ground Tigers were dealt a 70-32 loss at the hands of the Union Titans on Tuesday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Battle Ground's record now sits at 3-10. As for Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Battle Ground will welcome Camas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Camas knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Battle Ground likes a good challenge. As for Union, they will head out on the road to take on Skyview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Skyview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
