Soccer Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Columbia Central was not quite Shelbyville Central's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shelbyville Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in March.

Columbia Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2-1. As for Shelbyville Central, they pushed their record up to 7-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
