Softball Recap: Eisenhower Cadets vs. Davis Pirates
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eisenhower). They blew past the Davis Pirates 29-10 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won eight in a row.

Eisenhower got a massive performance out of Zabella Hickenbottom, who fired off three triples, five runs, and seven RBI while going 4-for-5. Those five runs gave Hickenbottom a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Salmanca, who went 5-for-6 with six RBI, three doubles, and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eisenhower kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.
